IDIOCY

Humans are such idiots. Taking the "American Dream" to new heights with the ability to sue. And suing for such ridiculous reasons.

IDIOCY is being so stupid, so ridiculous. Doing stupid things for stupid reasons.

My friend made a quip to this guy.
"I'm going to throw you into the sun."

So the other guy took him to 'court'

The court was corrupt, consisting of everyone sided onto the guy's side.
The case was suing for only five cents.
The courtroom was over aim. (Chatroom)
The evidence brought forth was clearly doctored.
The evidence brought forth was irrelevant (yu-gi-oh cards)

In the end, my friend lost.

He was upset about lost honor.

But I gave him an important lesson.

"Honor and respect is nothing compared to who you're true friends are.
Those who voted for you are your true friends, willing to defend you through everything, no matter what."

That was a summary of everything that had happened over a half hour. But, in end, the real question is...

Why are humans so stupid?

TRUSTing FRIENDSHIP

I haven't posted in a while, and I had no good definitions of words...until today, I discovered the definition of trust...

Trust is the basic structure of friendships and relationships. Without this connection between the two, this borderline would not exist. Belief and lies would blend. Trust is a hard thing to gain, and an easy thing to lose. Simple miswording can lead to a loss in trust, and it can take a long time to rebuild that trust...

Friendship is a close relationship between any two people built upon trust. Friends are those who are always there for you, friendship is the fact that you know that they will be there for you.

My friend discovered her boyfriend was cheating on her for his EX-girlfriend. Her friends were willing to beat up the stupid boy. (Guys and girls), but decided not to. She discovered that shes much better off without him, and is thankful for friends who are willing to help her through her dilemma.

My other friend had met this one girl at a dance, they had became great friends. He started to like her, until she told him she had a bofriend. At which point he still liked her, but not as much as he once had. Then his friend told him that she had been flirting with several other guys, then of which he regretted being such a fool and decided to not follow that cause...

My friend had always been shy, never opening to anyone, until he met this one girl. He was able to open up his life and explain things to her, and give her his secrets. He asked her to not tell anyone about the things said. One day one of his friends came up to him and made an inappropriate gesture about secrets. He realized this trust had been broken, he never spoke to her again. To this day, he still does not speak to her...

Do not ruin your friendship by breaking the promise of trust...

TEASING our INDIVIDUALISM and our IMPERFECTIONS

Teasing is the act of judging one, and persecuting them orally, to free the teaser of their own insecurities.

All our life, we've always been teased on what we look like, what we wear, what our roots are, our lives in general.

But all of these are just part of our Individualism, and can't be stopped as such. For one can't stop who they are.

These flaws and Imperfections within our own body and life are our perfections. Each human is flawed, and as such flaws, they make us perfect.

Being human means being perfect in your imperfections.
Being perfect means you're different, that you stand out.

As paradoxical as that sounds, do not think of it from a literal point of view, but think of human nature.

My entire life, I had always been made fun of for being different, being myself. But over the course of years, I've learned to grow up and deal with the fact that I will always be different than those who tease me, but that they also have their own imperfections.

I learned after picking on my friend, that I can't spread this teasing. Just because one is different, doesn't mean that you can make fun of them. Unless you both obviously know you're both joking.

INDEPENDENCE

When you don't have to rely on anyone else except yourself is when you can declare independence.

But independence also means being able to go out and do things on your own without other's consent, and being able to do that is a wonderful thing, it means looking like a fool and not caring what others think. Living your life to its fullest.

I've earned my independence from my parents, I do need to rely on them, but, I don't like to.

I've earned my independence from my friends, I act ridiculous when I'm with them, they feel embarassed, but will still remain my friends.

I've earned my independence from my community, helping others out through Key Club.

DEJA VU

The experience of Deja Vu is having a sensation of familiarity, of having been in a certain place before, when your mind becomes blank and you try to remember if you had been here, and done this before...

Although in my case...
Deja Vu is a series of stories I am writing, for fun of course.

So far I've only been able to write one story, I plan on writing 6 other stories.

: Promnesia {Scientific name for Deja Vu} [Prequel]
: Deja Vu
: Clockwork
: Mnemophobia {Fear of Memories}
: Chronophobia {Fear of Time}
: Remnants
: Father Time

Quite Alot...yes.

The series is about a teenager named Alex Monroe who discovers he has the ability to turn back time, and redo things, to change the outcome of events, to a maximum of a few hours. But in doing so, he severly alters the timeline of events that should have happened. Because of this, he causes the events that are about to transpire...

Speaking of Deja Vu, when I originally wrote the story, back in my sophmore year, I based the events around the beginning of '09. And the events actually started December 30th '08. The events are overlapping with me right now.

PROMISES and PUNISHMENTS

Promises are when one makes an oral statement to fulfill someone for someone else, no matter how long it takes.

Punishments are when one does something wrong, incorrectly, they must recieve the consequences of such actions.

My parents do not uphold either of these. Don't you hate it when parents do this? They promise you something, but you don't get it? When you do something wrong, you know the consequences, your parents say that you're grounded, but they do not uphold this consequence...

These two tie together more than you think.

When you promise your friend, or anyone you know something, make sure you keep that promise. If you don't the punishment will result in a loss of trust between you two.

Pesty PESSIMISM

Pessimism is the act of being pessimistic, or looking down at life, giving up in another sense. If one has this trait, then that pertains to the survival of life. Then there is no point.

Adele clearly defines this in "Chasing Pavements"
"Should I give up for should I keep chasing pavements even if it leads me nowhere."

My grandmother and grandfather called on the phone, my mom told me to talk to them, to wish them a happy and healthy new year, because "they could die at any minute." I told my mom not to think like that, but she gave me some stupid story about how she knew this lawyer and she saw him everyday, and spoke with him everyday, then he suddenly died of leukemia. That got me really mad, she thought with a horrible state of mind. I know what death is, I know it can strike, I know to expect it. But I do not want to think about it until it is time.

But in this world, there is always an opposite to everything we have.
Pessimistic<>Optimistic
