TIME to start 2009

Years consist of 365 days, or 366 every four years. But New Years Eve is the same staying up to 12am each night. This New Years Eve was okay, as everything else in my life. Why do we continue to celebrate a New Year?

Time is a measurement of how long we have survived in the world, and how long we will continue to survive.

We celebrate the New Year as a look back on everything that has happened to us within the past 365 days. Its amazing how we have survived for so long, and continue to. We all think that 2009 is alot, but think of how old the universe is... billions of years old. Its amazing.

New Year means a fresh start, speaking in terms of TIME. But among those around us, there can't be change, they know how we are, how we act. This is why we start resolutions at the beginning of the New Year. Fresh starts to live our lives. Turn over a new leaf.

My resolutions are to:
-Maintain and sustain at least a 3.5 G.P.A. (Shameful for an Asian)
-Find love.
-Work out and gain more muscles.

This has been another year where I haven't celebrated New Years with my family up in Canada, but despite that, my friends and I celebrated in my home. But I've noticed something... Our technological revolution has certainly changed our lives. As soon as the clock struck 12:00:00 am. Immediately everyone sent mass texts to eachother, forwarded those mass texts to other people to save them time, and so on. Then everyone called eachother through the phone. Its amazing, just how things have changed so much within a few years...
